Wow, only two weeks left of ESCHEL classes. I never thought we would end the school year this way. I’m saddened for the kids as they miss the weekly in-person interactions with their tutors and friends, and no traditional culminating event. Each tutor is planning their own last day activities, watch for their communications. The board is planning an alternative to the commencement to honor the graduates, collect folders, return any loose things to families, and distribute tutor report cards. So stay tuned!
Registration for next year went well and the elementary classes are mostly full as usual. There are three spots left in the K4 class. It would also be great to see more secondary students enroll, so tell your friends!
Regarding Spanish, the class offerings have been switched in hopes of attracting other students. Spanish 2B will be offered at 9:00am and Spanish 1 at 10:00am for secondary students.
A change for secondary students: All students need to be registered in a class while at ESCHEL for safety purposes. In the Registration tab, there are Study Hall classes listed for each hour. There is no fee, we just need a method for tracking which students plan to stay in the building when not registered for another class. Parents, please go in and select which hour a secondary student will be attending Study Hall. We hope to have a few room options to accommodate student needs.
Blessings as you navigate the closing of this school year.
