Member News – Registration

Members,

Thank you all for contributing to another great year at ESCHEL.  Our children have been able to continue their group learning and friendships.  We are grateful as we plan another year of classes at ESCHEL.  There will be a few changes, namely a new science tutor.  Please continue to help us scout for a suitable tutor to fill the shoes of the much beloved Mr. C.  If you or anyone you know would like to tutor our students in General Science, Biology and Chemistry, please let the Board know.   As requested by some members, we would also like a tutor for an afternoon elementary science class.

The board has decided not to offer a separate preK class for three year olds next year.  Mrs. Vircks will only have a class for K4/K5 students with a max of 20.  If you have a preK student, we have been told there is the option of asking to participate in the preschool offered by Joyce with “Kid Builders” upstairs at Hope Church.  ESCHEL will not be facilitating any arrangements for that preschool, only providing contact information.

A few new classes will be on the schedule.  Mrs. Nehring will be offering a Watercolor class for secondary students in the afternoon.  Mr. Schneider will be back to tutor Government, Economics and an Apologetics class.  Mrs. Schlemmer will offer a Cultural Geography class from Bob Jones curriculum.  This class is intended for 9th graders, though will be open to 7-12th.  Finally, during the 3rd hour, 7-8th graders may choose to join Mrs. Kauss’ 5/6 Phy. Ed. class with a maximum capacity of 24 students.  Please review the schedule under “Our Program – Class Schedules” at the bottom of that page.

When registration opens on April 1st, please register for all classes you intend for your student/s to take.  Those numbers may help us attract a science tutor.  Your member registration fee is due upon registration and holds your spot before we open for new members.  First tuition payments will be collected on May 4th.

Grace and peace,

Monica Schlemmer, President
